Recall & Loose Lead Walking Training Classes

Discover the secret tricks trainers use to solve the TWO biggest problems dog owners struggle with: recall training and loose lead walking.

rocket recall for teenage tearaway dogs
If your dog pulls like a train on the end of the lead, then you’ll likely be desperate to let them off of it. But if your recall is iffy (or nonexistent!) then sadly unclipping the lead doesn’t bring the relief you’d hope for!

Does your dog:

Listen to you at home but go blind and deaf the second you’re outdoors

Weave, bunny hop and drag you around zipping about on the end of the lead
Race ahead with no concern for where you are (or whether your shoulders are in agony)
Runs off to other dogs and forgets you even exist
Think squirrels and birds make the perfect ‘chase me’ pals
Love to play ‘catch me’ at the end of a walk – it’s the best game EVER!
What if I told you the reasons your dog may struggle with recall and loose lead walking are connected…

A dog who’s over aroused, distracted and who finds it hard to focus will likely be excitable and pulling on the lead and running off the second you unclip it.

But we can fix that… here’s how:

Throughout our classes together, we’ll work on the 4 connecting threads that’ll give you both reliable recalls and consistent loose lead walking.

1. Connection with you (even outside)

2. Focus skills so your dog can learn

3. Impulse control so your dog can stop and listen

4. Consistency so you both form new habits

Reward based and full of fun dog training

Becky is very supportive and knowledgeable in every area of dog training. If you’re going into the course thinking you know the basics then chances are you don’t as her techniques are spot on.

I love that the training is reward based and full of fun. Becky is very approachable and there’s no judgement to any questions you may have.

The outdoor classes in a more authentic environment are brilliant as this is where real life situations occur and you can pick up things as they happen. I would recommend East Coast Dog Training to everyone.

Straightforward & easy to follow

We finished our training course yesterday. The weekly videos were very straightforward and easy to follow and it was great having the chance to practice before class each week.

Maisie has come on really well with her recall and loose lead walking throughout the course and learned a few new tricks.
Thanks so much Becky
